Darren and Kristin LeBlanc {Married} / Jersey Shore Wedding Photographer

You may remember Darren and Kristin from their mile-high engagement and Las Vegas E-session, or maybe you just know Darren from Anthem of Hope and the encouragement he's brought to so many people's lives. This past Sunday, Darren and Kristin had their wedding, on the Day of Pentecost, and Rob and I not only had the privilege of photographing it, but were able to be guests at the reception as well!

This was one of the most moving ceremonies I've ever seen, especially when Kristin made promises to Olivia, Darren's daughter, immediately after saying her vows to Darren. We shot pics at Monmouth University and ended up at McCloone's Pier House for the reception. It was an amazing day and I'm so happy to be able to share a part of it with you guys!

Nicole and Mike {Engaged} / Holmdel Park Monmouth County New Jersey Wedding Photographer

Rob and I were delighted to photograph the engagement session of our ten, ten, ten couple (October 10, 2010) on Saturday in Holmdel Park, Nicole and Mike. As always Rob and I had a blast with the session, we even were able to get them to do some jumping, swinging and laying on the ground!! Some pretty intense rain clouds kept threatening to roll in, but the only drops that we saw were on the way home. :-)

Rob's PhVusion piece will be coming along shortly, but until then, check out some of the images from the session along with the slideshow at the bottom (view original post if you're in facebook, or just click here).

Rob and Vanessa in Animoto's Newsletter!

When Colyn from Animoto mentioned to me about his idea for putting a guest spot focusing on PhVusion in Animoto's newsletter, I completely jumped at the chance! Of course Rob and I just love educating other photographers on photo and video fusion and trying our best to get them to jump on the 21st century of photography bandwagon, but the truth is, I love writing articles!

I used to work for Lawn Doctor, you know, the green thumb people; and I would write marketing pieces all the time. So needless to say when article writing and PhVusion came together in a very cool company's newsletter, I was thrilled.

This month, I gave a basic intro to PhVusion and in the upcoming months I'll talk about more specifics of shooting, editing and presenting PhVusion products that you can sell to your clients or use for your own promotional purposes. Take a look at Animoto's May Newsletter to read the whole article!

Emily and Joe {Engaged} - New York Wedding Photographer

Emily and Joe are a great couple. And by great, I mean completely relaxed in front of the camera. They have such chemistry together and were definitely not shy about a little PDA!

Kyleigh (who assisted but thanks to my pocket wizard's battery taking on a life of it's own and jumping out of the transmitter, only held the flash and followed us around) and I traveled just over the border into New York to an adorable town to photograph Emily and Joe's E-Session. We had such a blast walking around town and watching these two love birds in action, that we hardly wanted it to end! I'm so looking forward to this couple's wedding, which just happens to be on my birthday this year. I know we're going to have a fun day!

Kristin and J Norris {Married} / New York City Wedding Photographer

This was such an incredible wedding for Rob and I. Not only did we get to work together (YaY), but we were able to work with the most incredible indoor lighting that I've had in a while during the bride's prep at Hotel Indigo. What an amazing place! Not to mention that the blue decor perfectly matched Kristin's eyes. :-)

It was probably the windiest day I've ever witnessed in NYC, and to add to that, the ceremony was on the roof of Studio 450. But nothing could take away from the clear excitement of both Kristin and J on their wedding day...even the bridesmaids were all smiles as they had to hold down their knee-length dresses while walking down the aisle!

This was also a big deal because it was the 2nd successful time creating the same day album. With the help of Kyleigh, my newest assistant (and quite a good one too!), and of course Stacy from Capri Album, we were able to have them a 20 page mounted album by dinner time! Check it out (thanks Ahmet for snapping a few pics of me giving it to them!!):

Since Kristin had both Rob and I, we surprised her by creating a PhVusion slideshow instead of the regular photo one that I usually do. I have to say, it's one of my favs!! Definitely check that out at the end of the post. :-)

EnJOY!!
