Marissa and Scott {Married} / Forsgate Country Club, New Jersey Wedding Photographer
Marissa and Scott had a beautiful wedding at Forsgate Country Club on June 5, 2010. I have to say, Marissa was a very relaxed bride in front of the camera. She went from super sexy to utterly gorgeous with every click of the shutter and hardly any direction! Thanks for such an amazing day and wedding to witness and document! :-)

Wow, I never thought of it this way...
This image is from a fellow photographer. Now, normally I've always said I've never cared much about people shooting over my shoulder cuz I know that happens, but this is an interesting take on why guests should just be guests sometimes.
"16 cameras visible in this shot.
The fact that lots of people are shooting at the wedding is not new. What I want to point out is what the cost is, both to the client and the guests. Look closely at the photo and you will see that those with cameras are looking at the settings, chimping, or framing their shots. One guy is actually looking at me!
What they are not looking at, and witnessing, and enjoying, and taking a mental image of, is the bride walking down the aisle with her dad. They are all missing it! And this is the image the bride will receive—not smiling friendly faces—happy to see her so happy. Instead, a bunch of people looking down.
It saddens me.
The camera makes everyone a tourist in other people's reality, and eventually in one's own."
Pretty good point, right?

Courtney and John {Married} / Red Bank NJ Wedding Photographer
I met Courtney in 2005 while studying abroad in Spain and we became fast friends along with the small group of us from Monmouth University that went to Madrid. So needless to say I was thrilled when I heard she was engaged and so excited to photograph her wedding at the Oyster Point in Red Bank.
Now, anyone that knows Courtney knows that she has impeccable taste in fashion, and being a bride is no exception! So, disappointing no one, Courtney wore the most amazing shoes I've ever photographed! Hot pink, Christian Louboutin shoes!!
Courtney and John had a beautiful day on May 30th and we had some amazing images from the day. EnJOY!!

Amanda and Chris {Engaged} / Hoboken New York Manhattan Wedding Photographer
James' friend had just gotten engaged and last minute asked a few friends to come out and celebrate. Having worked all day James was not quite in the party mood, but wanting to celebrate her friend's engagement she told her that she'd come, but would be late because she had to run home and get ready. Her friend told her to just come straight from work, it didn't matter what she looked like, to which James replied, "No, I could meet my husband tonight." And what do you know? She did! That was the night that James met Chris and the rest is history.
Along with my assistant, Macey, we took the ferry from Hoboken to Manhattan, then we were off to Times Square and Battery Park and then Park to Hoboken for some night time shots. We had a blast walking throughout a very crowded Times Square and even made it to McDonald's for some nuggets and fries! Lots of great stuff from this day and I'm LOVING the new action set I got from Jesh de Rox!
EnJOY!
