YaY, I'm home!! Vacations are great, and I promise I will have some pictures up soon, but it is always good to be home and back in the swing of things, especially since I have two super-fun weddings this weekend that I'm uber-excited about!
So here's the deal. Business cards are the item on the list and thanks to Kenny Kim and Andres Valenzuela, I've come down to just one more tiny decision...pink, light pink, or no pink.
So it's going to be a silk card 300 from 4colorprint, like I mentioned before, with rounded corners. Here are the three choice which really just come down to color...so I've decided to put it to a vote. Send me your preference by email vanessa@vanessajoy.com, or just leave me a comment here!
Thanks you guys!!

you know my vote! :) whity!
ReplyDeleteI like the Light Pink. I also like the card itself. That logo is amazing.
ReplyDeletelight pink - beautiful logo
ReplyDeleteI like the white. The pink is a bit overwhelming and might convey an overly feminine tone (i know you're a tomboy at heart). The white is classy and simple. I feel like the logo pops better without any distraction. The logo is amazing and its shines on its own. my vote is for the white but the light pink is acceptable too.
ReplyDeletei like the light pink :)

This is out of the box... how about a black card and make the black text white but leave the pink. I think you'll get more impact and it will be memorable because so few people do it. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf you don't go black, I say white. The simplicity reflects your photos.
I think the darker pink would suggest a more modern business, whereas no pink would suggest a more serious, conservative business. As for the light pink ... I get too much of a direct sales/old lady vibe.
ReplyDeleteI personally would go with no pink and focus on the texture of the card.

i'll vote light pink.
ReplyDeleteI like to pink the best! i feel as though it really stands out compared to the rest! good luck with your decision!
ReplyDeleteMy instant impression and initial reaction to the dark pink was "overwhelming" and "not as sophisticated as the bottom two".
ReplyDeleteSo, after then looking at the two choices left, I thought the light pink was pretty and subtle, and gave a little more dynamic to the card, where the no-pink was not as dynamic.
So I like the light pink:)
looove the logo:)
hey hey.
ReplyDeletethe white. more conservative and classy.
great logo.
The light pink is much more elegant looking... ultra pink is not so hot.
ReplyDeleteI would say light pink as well, but I think make the pink background a little darker. If done in Photoshop, make the background's opacity somewhere between 35-50% of the dark pink background. Gives it something reminiscent of a "dreamy" feeling. My $0.02. =D
ReplyDeleteI like the light pink. Although, I could like a black and white theme. Can you make it and give us a look? haha! I ask, why pink. Why not black and white or if a pale color, like the light pink, a very muted non descript color. like on of my eyeshadows. The kind of color that says "what the heck color is this?"I bet you didn't want all this, did you? hahaha
ReplyDeleteI think the logo stands out more with the white. The 2 pinks sort of distract you. I vote white.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I dig the Light Pink. It's nuanced and subtle.
ReplyDeleteWHITE! clean, graphic, classy, & all about your logo.
ReplyDeleteWhite: sophisticated, distinctive, direct.
ReplyDeleteI think the pink-on-white circular edge, combined with rounded corners, would 'take the edge off' a bit too much.
Stay sharp.
I'm into simplicity si i'd go for white
