It was such a treat to photograph my first wedding after being married myself! Out of all of the amazing experiences that being a bride brings, one of my favorites is helping me relate to my brides more. I really love that I've been able to see things from their eyes. :-)

Tricia was a beautiful bride and I was lucky enough to work with Yvonne and Heather for her makeup and hair (always great to photograph someone who has perfect hair and makeup!). One of my favorite things was that Tricia completely trusted my opinion on everything! Anytime where she wasn't sure what to do, like where to put her engagement ring during the ceremony, or if she needed help taking out her veil and bustling her dress, she would ask me right away. :-) It's a great feeling when I connect with my brides like that. :-)

I'm Married!!!

Time definitely flies when you're engaged, so love every moment of it brides-to-be!! It seems like yesterday Rob and I were announcing to everyone that we were engaged and now we're already a week past our honeymoon! I truly have loved every bit of the process and I'm looking forward to all that is to come.

I think my favorite thing that Rob did for me on our wedding day, wasn't the flowers that he sent me in the morning, or his beautiful, heartfelt vows, but the reminder that he gave me to just stop and take it all in every once in a while. It was those moments that I remember most vividly and I'm glad he took the time to make sure I did that.

I really couldn't have been happier with everything that went on, but my biggest advice is that despite any sna-foos that may come the day of, who cares?!?!! You're getting married!!! :-) Love every second of it!
