What a great wedding yesterday! Rob and I shot alongside Michael Travisano (with the assistance of Leah, Nino and Johnny) at the Channel Club in Monmouth Beach with the ceremony held at Georgian Court University. It was a really unique wedding for me as both Michael and I decided to step forward and photograph the wedding together. It was a great experience for both of us getting the chance to learn from one another and I'm excited to see our images combined! In the meantime, here's a selection of my favs of the day and the slideshow. :-)
Yoli has amazing style and she did not disappoint with her chic headpieces for herself and the bridesmaids, as well as an AMAZING pair of Swarovski Crystal covered shoes from Italy! Needless to say I certainly had a little piece of heaven to start out the day's photographs. :-)
I was so inspired by this wedding. The love was just radiating everywhere, especially from Avery's mom Margo (who did the flowers for he daughter's wedding and told me "I've been waiting my whole life to do the flowers for her wedding"). I wanted to flip over to video mode when I caught her saying to her daughter before we left for the ceremony, "If I forget to tell you later, I just want to let you know that since marrying your father, this is the happiest day of my life." It was so beautiful so see such their mother-daughter relationship. :-)
It was a bright and sunny day at The White Sands Beach in Point Pleasant where the ceremony was held, and the Lobster Shanty, where the reception was, was a perfect location for the wedding. Check out some of my favs from the day and of course the slideshow as well!
You may remember this super-cute couple from their engagement session last November. They were a fun couple then and they definitely held that title on their wedding too. I think my favorite part was when they got permission to let Doug serve Carla ice cream right out of the Ice Cream Truck!! Kudos to Ahmet for taking the most AMAZING images of the moment to the left. :-)
This was also a first for me. My first ever time photographing a bride with this type of veil/headpiece. It was amazing! I've been DYING to photograph a bride with such a fashion style like this so I can photograph one of these headpieces. They're so vogue and sexy and just gorgeous all at the same time!
For my 200th blog post I am so excited that I get to post about a wedding with all of my favorite people in it!! For Amanda and Matt's wedding I got to work with my hubby , Kyleigh Dooley (assisting), Ahmet (2nd shooting), Heather (hair) and Yvonne (makeup). And it did not disappoint! Every detail from the shoes (my goodness the SHOES!), the dress, the flowers and the decorations were absolutely perfect. :-)
I am a tri-lingual (English, Spanish and a bit a French) wedding photographer from the great state of New Jersey. I have been into photography for over 10 years now and have spent most of it photographing Jersey Shore Weddings. I love doing destination weddings because I love traveling and seeing new places, especially ones where I can speak the language!
