After some persuading on my part and some enlightenment on his, Rob has decided to sell his Nikon equipment and get the Canon 5d Mark II!!! YAY!!!!! So if any of you are interesting in starting a Nikon collection, let me know and I'd be happy to hook you up with Rob's equipment list.
